David Martínez

I’ve been folding paper since I was 9 (now 35), and origami has been a constant in my life ever since. I’m especially drawn to its geometric side—things like tessellations, modular constructions, and polygon-based single-sheet designs. Every now and then, I’ll fold a fun little animal too, just to mix things up.

Since 2019, I’ve been deep into modular stars—not the simple ones, but the intricate and mathematical kind that really push your precision and patience. In 2022, I took on the role of webmaster for the Bogotá Origami Congress, and I’m also an active member of the 'Amigos Plegadores' group here in Bogotá.
