Origami abstract iceberg calving

An abstract origami simulation of iceberg calving. Icebergs a simulated with pleated regulation polygon prisms. Each prism is attached to a long folded rectangle that is used as a pull tab. When the tab is slowly pulled, the prisms pivot from a vertical position to a horizontal position and appear to float apart. The shapes chosen a set to represent the basic building blocks of iceberg which is a snowflake, The folded snowflake is made from six rectangles. All parts are folded from rectangles and assembled without glue. The environmental effect of calving can be positive but can also be catastrophic and negative especially when impacted by global warming. This is a new model and simulation.
