Scaled Lizard (2024), originally Horse-rider (2021)
The year 2021 shaped how I initially designed most of my work. I either used a bird base or its variant. I designed the Horse-rider using a quad-bird base (see instructions for the crease pattern). Much later, in 2022, I revised it to yield a pegasus, with the wings replacing the rider. In 2022, I tried to refold and review the design to simplify the process- when I realized the possibility of creating a four legged dragon. This would arise from reshaping the head and legs to suit a dragon, and the pegasus wings would hence suit a dragon's.
In July 2024 (2 years post this design), I tried to reshape the dragon to create a scaled iguana. My final refold resembled a scaled Sinai agama, which was variably far from my starting point. While most other model-evolutions reiterate to form the same subject, my expedite process landed in the reptilian world.
