Concatenation

After folding some of Madonna Yoder's designs, for which she generously provided free instructional videos, I finally felt comfortable using trapezoid twists. I especially like the combination of three trapezoids to produce a larger triangle, and their ability to pull paper away from the center of a double-depth triangle twist to create a nice backlighting effect.

This is my first design of the year and my first tessellation design with trapezoid twists. I named it 'Concatenation' because three trapezoids are joined together to form a triangle. Additionally, on the other side, large triangles appear within a chain of smaller ones.
