(Mis)Stellated Octahedron
A single-sheet origami model resembling a stellated octahedron, though the pyramids form right angles at their tips rather than the usual 60 degrees.
To comply with the challenge rules, start by folding the Eight-Grid Multi-Form: crease all diagonals on the white side of the paper and all vertical and horizontal lines on the opposite side. Then collapse and lock as shown in the video or following the crease pattern (see PDF).
In the provided diagram, I’ve chosen to show the model with partial creases — this keeps the finished model cleaner and makes the collapse easier to follow, with fewer lines to fold along. Use whichever method you prefer.
