A.PLEC Associació de Plegadors Educadors (Folding Didactics)

We are a non-profit association founded in 2018 with the aim of promoting and raising awareness of folding as an educational activity in all its facets.

Since 2015, we have been organizing APLEC, International Conference on Didactics of Educational Folding, in the city of Badalona (Catalonia), aimed at teachers from early childhood education to secondary education, non-university and university teachers, and other people interested in folding and its didactics.

Since 2023, and with the same objective, we have been organizing in Germany FALTIK, follower of the since 2006 yearly previous existing Internationales Treffen zur Faltdidaktik in Freiburg im Bresigau (Conference on Folding Didactics in Freiburg in Breisgau), which was the follower of the Origami-Schule Freiburg (Origami School Freiburg), founded and started the year 2000 in the same city.

We hold training courses, organize talks and other activities to disseminate the educational value of folding. We support and disseminate all kinds of initiatives related to educational folding.
