Stars Gather into the Moon

Tired of the constraints of straight-line grids, I began exploring ways to arrange familiar origami structures along curves. In this work, I transformed the twisted hexagram motif commonly found in hexagonal tessellations into a graceful arrangement along circular arcs, creating a crescent moon formed by a gathering of stars. The underlying geometric construction is based on a Steiner chain.
