Hi all👋 I have designed this model way back on 25th December 2025....
I chose dragon as my subject because this subject has endless potential to give us the creators and opportunity to show our creativity...
"Who said creating artistic and complex origami requires just only circle packing ,boxpleating ,22.5 and softwares and Especially SYMETRY AND SQUARE PAPER ???"
This Origami breaks all the boundaries of both traditional and modern Styles
This includes the following:
1) A blend of styles
a)Modern Box pleating
b)22.5
c) rotated grids square twists tesselation on the back along with additional square scales
This Origami is not only the blend of mathematical meticulous planning but the fact is it shows the beauty of the powerful combination that what happens when different genres of origami come closer
The biggest achievement making this was this wasn't made from traditional approach of symmetry and square but rather assymetric patterns
Why this Model deserves to be Candidate?
1) Assymetric packing of parts (defying traditional computers and approach )
2) it is highly optimization for different designs (eg:- the scales can be manipulated to hex scales,the head can be even turned as a snake or fish)this offers flexibility and endless creativity
3) Defying Another traditional approach
This Origami was made using 'rectangularish' or "rhombus type " paper I was a lazy artist who felt lazy enough to cut a square from rectangular printer paper so I thought why not make it in a such size ( paper size around 70 cm -1 m )
4) Awesome blend of different styles and genres of Origami
Since I am not well versed with digital software for origami I have hand drawn my packing and explained please have a look
