Magnifying Glass

This is one of those ideas that when you think it, you know it's going to work. The structure could only happen if the magnifying glass came from joining two opposite flaps on the sides of a rectangle. The ant needed half the thickness (grid size) than the magnifying glass, allowing for color change in the same process. The difficult part was offsetting the ant while making sure there was enough pleats to get all the ant details.
