Undead Wyvern

This model is inspired by an undead wyvern character from a video game. In this game, the subject is essentially a skeletal ice-breathing dragon that was reanimated by necromancy and placed under the control of undead armies.

I folded this model from a duo-colored sheet of unryu and tissue paper, and I used the colors for different purposes. I used the white side to represent the bones and skeletal features. I used the purple side to represent the fleshy regions and the colored regions of the model in the game (purple was the original color in the game). I used the texture of the paper to portray the nature of the tattered flesh or bones.

I believe this subject also deserves consideration as a structural artistic figurative model because folders can reproduce the look of this model by folding the crease pattern, shaping the flaps in a similar manner, and using water and methyl cellulose to compress and manage the numerous layers.
